What is Vine & Branches?

Vine & Branches is a Grow Group at Our Lady of Mercy (OLM) that offers support and belonging to individuals of any age or faith who are divorced or separated on the way to divorce.

“As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.” —John 15:9

What does Vine & Branches do?

We gather regularly (weekly) in community in a safe environment to provide mutual support to one another and grow in Christian virtue and friendship. This group will also have opportunities to connect through various social gatherings. Based on the group’s interest, additional workshops or meeting topics may include speakers on various topics such as annulments, parenting in divorce, etc.

What is the purpose?

Our primary purpose is to help divorced or separated individuals looking to restore hope, find healing and grow authentic friendships with other individuals who are in a similar situation.

“It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you.” —John 15:16

When do we gather?

We meet in person on Wednesdays from 7pm – 8:30pm at Our Lady of Mercy in the Parish Life Center (PLC).

Social gatherings are typically planned for Friday or Saturday evenings.

An important note

This is not a group of professional counselors, but a group of peers who have been there and simply wish to listen, offer encouragement, and grow in fellowship.
